Gerrie Gaev started her career in Real Estate the day she was born. Her grandfather was a builder and developer of high rise apartment buildings and her father was an architect who owned and operated a Real Estate company and built and developed residential homes. Gerrie graduated from Temple University with a B.S. Degree in Education and Business Administration. She taught for a short time, then decided to stay home and raise her three children. Gerrie and her husband Lou, have been residents of Philadelphia's Main Line for over 45 Years. In 1975, Gerrie started her residential sales career. In 1978, she joined her husband in establishing their residential brokerage company in Haverford, Pennsylvania. In 1992, she was appointed manager of their 35 agent company, responsible for recruiting, relocation and training. In June 1996, Century 21 Gaev merged with Weichert Realtors with Gerrie relocating her office to 111 N. Wayne Avenue in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Weichert Realtors is one of the largest independent residential brokerage companies spanning from Connecticut to Florida with about 10,000 agents and over 50 billion dollars in sales. They are also the largest residential new construction company in the suburban area of Philadelphia ranging in price from $150,000 to over $1,000,000 plus. Gerrie's vast real estate knowledge and experience enable her to achieve over $500,000,000 worth of real estate sales throughout her career. In recent years she has been a member of Weichert's Ambassador Club, where only the top 2% of Weichert's agents qualify for membership. Presently she is a member of Weichert's Presidents Club where only the top 1% of Weichert's agents nationwide qualifies for membership. Gerrie received awards for being the "Top Producer," the "Top Revenue Agent," the "Top Volume Agent," and the "Top Selling Agent" in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. Gerrie has experience in helping clients relocate and minimizing their trauma associated with large geographic moves. She ran the relocation department in her own firm and has worked with many families relocating since joining Weichert Realtors. She has also earned her Relocation Specialist Certification. Gerrie received her Advanced Certification for New Home Sales Professional (CUSP) from the National Association of Home Builders National Sales and Marketing Council Institute of Residential Marketing. Her new construction sales account for one third of her volume. Gerrie has also earned certification in Advanced Residential Sales, Buyer Broker Specialist, Capital Property Specialist (homes ranging over $1,000,000) Mentor Specialist and Marketing Specialist.
